Rental information

The Resident Acceptance policy details are provided on the Apply Online page.  Acceptance for tenancy will be based on your overall credit, adequate and stable income to pay the rent on time, and personal and current / former landlord references. The application also includes a criminal background check. If you have not rented before, are self employed, or newly employed, additional deposits may be required.

Rents and deposits: Initial Rents and Deposits are to be in the form of a Cashiers Check or Money Order. All subsequent payments can be made online or by personal check. We cannot accept cash for any Rent or Deposit payments.

Utility billing fee: Effective July 15, 2011, Seattle Public Utilities requires Landlords to manage bills directly and invoice tenants for Public Utilities. If Water/Sewer/Garbage is part of your lease agreement, and these are serviced through Seattle Public Utilities, there will be a 3% fee (of billed amounts) per bill service charge for this service. This fee will be due upon receipt of the bill.  This 3% service fee will also apply to any utilities billed to you as part of your lease by RD House.
